The Breezy Point North Stars saw its season come to an end after two weekend losses to the Granite City Lumberjacks in the first round of the NA3HL playoffs. The team's final game was a 5-0 loss on Saturday, March 18.

The Stars' defense kept the game scoreless until the 13-minute mark of the first period, when the Lumberjacks managed to score their first goal. They scored another three minutes later, then scored two second-period goals within one minute of each other to seal a victory.

The Stars were outshot by their opponents 47-23.

Breezy Point goalie Magnus Lindhe recorded 42 saves in the game.

The North Stars' loss on Friday, March 17, also saw them struggle on offense, as they were shutout 3-0 by the Lumberjacks.

Granite City found the back of the net early, scoring just over three minutes after the opening faceoff. They then scored two more in the second period to pick up the win and the lead in the best-of-three series.

The North Stars were outshot 38-23 in the game.

Goalie Bronson Moore stopped 35 shots.
