The FCS Playoffs return to Fargo for an eleventh straight year and much like the first year, North Dakota State has a difficult road.

The Bison will host 2010 national champion and 2018 national runners-up Eastern Washington in the first round Saturday at Gate City Bank Field at the Fargodome.

NDSU comes into this game off a loss, falling to South Dakota State in the season finale 27-17 last Saturday.

The Bison have several question marks entering this game, from their starting quarterback to the defense.

North Dakota State is set to return to the football field this weekend as the Bison will travel to Cedar Falls, Iowa for a matchup with Northern Iowa.

The Bison have been sidelined the last two Saturdays because of positive COVID cases among the team. Head coach Matt Entz said there were no new positive cases on the team Monday, leading to this game happening Saturday.
