I was disappointed to find out that the recycle container at the Mission Fire Department was recently removed, along with many other locations in our area.
The lakes area has an earned reputation for caring about the environment and burying recycled goods does not fit in. People go out of their way to bring items to the recycle containers as is evident when they are often overflowed.
I don't have a curbside recycle opportunity. I don't know what the trade-offs are for recycling options, but it is very important to make it easy for all residents.
