Letter to the Editor: Walz is out of touch with Minnesota

“Minnesota has a strong moral tradition of welcoming those who seek refuge. Our state has always stepped forward to help those who are fleeing desperate situations and need a safe place to call home,” Gov. Tim Walz said in his letter to Secretary Pompeo. This is your governor's response to the refugee question.

This has nothing to do with morality. Walz and Democrats support abortion on demand and legalizing drugs, are pushing gun control, seek to undermine the family unit further, and have weakened the meaning of marriage in Minnesota. These items are the moral decay pushed by the left.

We have hundreds of homeless in Minnesota. A new report from Wilder Research - http://mnhomeless.org/minnesota-homeless-study/homelessness-in-minnesota.php - shows that homelessness has gone up 10% from 2015 to 2018.

Where is your morality addressing this problem, liberals? If there is one single homeless child in Minnesota, there is no room for refugees.
