I had the opportunity to work closely with Jon in bringing high-speed broadband to the city of Jenkins, Jenkins Township and Ideal Township.
We successfully worked with Crow Wing County and gained broadband for all three of our areas at a cost that was more than reasonable given the cost to add such services to other areas in Minnesota.
Jon is an excellent listener, a person who has broad knowledge of all levels of government, and a person who worked effectively with us though we all had different issues in play.
I especially liked that Jon was completely focused on serving his constituents balanced with what is best for the broader area we comprise.
As an elected supervisor at Ideal Township, I would personally recommend Jon for Crow Wing County commissioner for the reasons cited above.
