I would like to say thank you to the Pine River American Legion for the Memorial Day services they had. I attended the one at the dam, where our right to assemble was not dictated by others.
When some of the surrounding area stepped back, Pine River stepped up. I felt like I was still in the America I grew up in, not an ER with masks and gloves everywhere. Thanks to the speaker and the color guard.
God bless America and all that attended.
Joel Erickson,
Pine River
