Letter to the Editor: Thank you from Pequot Lakes Area Historical Society

Thank you to everyone who attended the Pequot Lakes Area Historical Society open house on Aug 6. We appreciate the support of old friends, but were pleased to see new faces and make new connections as well. Drinking coffee, eating cookies and cake, and talking with fine people face to face is a very satisfying way to spend a Saturday.

We were celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Historical Society, which milestone we depicted in our Stars and Stripes Parade float last month. Over the next quarter century we will do our collective best to advance the goals set down by our predecessors.
