To whoever tore the 11 American flags off their staffs that are placed in the bronze military emblems (American Legion, VFW) that honor our deceased veterans on Memorial Day weekend in Pequot's city cemetery, it brings to mind people who will steal plants and flowers from gravesites on Memorial Day.
But this brings things to a new low with nothing to gain but hurt and insult to families and friends of the deceased veterans at the time of their visitation to the vets' gravesites.
You have to seriously question their mentality when they do things like this. It's totally senseless and inexcusable under any circumstances.
