Letter to the Editor: Failures of Biden, his administration

It's my opinion that our two senators have either explicitly supported these disastrous policies or have remained silent and frozen, unable or unwilling to speak out or take action. I believe our two senators are more concerned about themselves and their party than they are America.

I believe we have all seen firsthand the failures of Biden and his administration, which I believe is fully supported by our two senators and our DFL representatives.

The disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan resulted in the deaths of 13 military people, Americans left behind and billions of dollars of prime military equipment given to the Taliban with a recent assessment the Taliban will be able to attack America within a year.

Disaster at the southern border with record numbers of migrants either trying to or successfully illegally entering our country. High inflation, driven by massive spending above what we can afford, which is a hidden tax that hits everyone but the lower income the most.

Soaring crime rates, shortages of basic goods and services, etc.

Unfortunately, our two senators have either explicitly supported these disastrous policies or have remained silent and frozen, unable or unwilling to speak out or take action. I believe our two senators are more concerned about themselves and their party than they are America.

I have contacted the offices of our senators and found the following.

For Klobuchar and the border: Her office has said, since this summer, that she is concerned and monitoring this closely. Her office can’t name one action she has taken to resolve this invasion.

For Smith, she is singularly focused on the massive spending and tax bill and has no time for border security. She evidently can’t do more than one thing at a time. Her office was very clear that she supports everything in this massive spending bill.

A bill that, while not totally written, will spend and tax more and expand government (specifically the IRS). I believe she supports the bill without knowing specifically what’s in it.

The move to socialism/Marxism is upon us.
