If you haven't visited Nisswa lately, now is a great time. A freshly painted mural is making a delightful splash on the wall next to the Big Axe Brewing Co. on Main Street.
The painting was done by Samantha French, daughter of Mike and Julie French, owners of Stonehouse Coffee. She is a talented artist with showings in New York galleries. The colors and refreshing depiction of a swimmer underwater is incredible.
Other area cities with downtown murals include Pequot Lakes and Brainerd, offering drive-by art to enjoy.
