Enbridge's proposed Line 3 would carry tar sands oil through some of Minnesota's most water-rich land. This huge pipeline project would go through treaty lands and cross over 200 lakes, rivers, streams and wetlands.

The Minnesota Department of Commerce's analysis shows that the risks of this line outweigh its rewards.

Thank you to Gov. Walz for moving forward with the Department of Commerce appeal of the Line 3 permits. This is a great first step toward protecting Minnesota from the climate and water risks posed by Line 3.

Our leaders need to put Minnesota's water, climate and indigenous sovereignty ahead of the profits of the fossil fuel industry. Now is the time to put an end to Line 3 and move forward with a community-led, just transition to a green energy economy in Minnesota.
