On behalf of the Pequot Lakes Park Board, I want to thank the over two dozen volunteers who spent two rainy, cold days putting together a wonderful new playground at Sibley Lake Park.
The playground, donated by the Babinski family in honor of Elizabeth and Donald Babinski, consists of a climbing dome and a large structure that will provide children with hours of enjoyment. Be sure to stop by!
It is also important to thank Cemstone, Jeremy Fyle and Lakes Latte for their donations.
Congratulations also to the Sibley Lake Association and its members for writing a successful DNR grant application for restoration of the bluff and land leading down to the lake. Once work plans are set into motion on this project, volunteers will be needed.
We will keep you posted and hope that our community will step forward to make Sibley Park a showplace.
