Remember "I was for it before I was against it"?

Norgaard/Schrupp publicly favored bringing back the old PZ department. They've said the new PZ department works well. Hard to believe anyone would want to go backward when current staff has 99 percent approval ratings. County/Crosslake PZ won national award.

7/10/17 Norgaard made motion to fire financial officer Mike Lyonais; Schrupp seconded. They lost 3-2 - Heacox, Nevin, Nelson. The next week, in the papers, Norgaard praised Lyonais as wonderful asset to Crosslake. That sequence again: She motioned to fire him, then voted to promote him, then gushed in the papers how wonderful he is.

Crosslake is headed in the right direction, thanks to Heacox, Nevin, Nelson.

Nevin is the only voice in opposition of the $12.7 million new city hall/fire/police department. There are many less expensive options to upgrade. Nevin agrees to an upgrade.
