What a fabulous first few weeks we had at PR-B! It was great seeing smiling faces and hearing laughter as our students were getting off the buses in the mornings and meeting up with their friends at the start of a new school year.

As we get into our new school year, a few reminders to families:

  • No bus passes this year and that also goes for riding in the mornings from a friend’s house. Some of our buses can get pretty full in the mornings.
  • Safety is our No. 1 priority. No food or drinks on the buses as some students riding could have an allergic reaction. Staying properly seated on the bus also ensures your student’s safety.
  • We have rules on our buses for the safety of our students. Please follow those.
  • Please make sure your information is correct in Infinite Campus so if we have to notify you about school closing due to weather you will receive that information.

We are still short of bus drivers, so please be patient with us during this time. We try to get subs to fill routes and that could affect your route times.
If you are interested in being a substitute driver or van or bus driver, give us a call at 218-587-2026.

Also, please remind your student to be respectful to the drivers and the bus. Behaviors will be addressed and consequences will be issued accordingly.

PR-B will offer the after-school activity vans again this year. We are excited to bring that back. We do not drive your students home but do offer drop-off points. You can call the transportation department to find those spots.

Students will need to sign up by 1 p.m. daily and space could be limited. This service will be offered to students in grades 4-12.

We are also hiring for bus and activity drivers. We offer free training to acquire your commercial driver's license and bus endorsement and will provide a bus to take your road test.

We are excited for this year and will continue to provide your child(ren) safe transportation. Any questions or concerns, please call the transportation department at 218-587-2026 or email Charity at ccrannell@prbschools.org .

Here’s to a great 2022-23 school year and go Tigers!
