Well, if you've ever vacationed in the Brainerd lakes area, then you've had the pleasure of meeting him in person. What you probably didn't know is that a handful of newlyweds make the trip every summer to get a blessing from the other "big guy."

According to Lois, a spokesperson for Paul Bunyan Land, "Paul has been witness to many engagement proposals and has been the topic of many a wedding photo. The park is always happy to accommodate."

We, the soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. Foust, are no different than the visitors of the past. With their dear childhood memories in mind, the happy couple will stop by from 3-5 p.m. Saturday, July 19, to share their special day with their old buddy Paul, saying "hi" to Babe and perhaps going on a very mysterious mine ride with the entire wedding party in tow.

Jacqueline Einfeldt is a Minnesota native. Her family has been vacationing in Brainerd since she was a little girl. She met her soon-to-be husband, Jason Foust, while living in St. Croix. They currently live in Orlando, Florida.
