Bob was born in Edina, MN and died 12/1/2020 at the age of 89 in Fifty Lakes, MN. Preceded in death: Daniel Buresh (son), parents, Donna Henningsen (sister). Survived by his wife Paula of 69 years, daughters Diane (Kevin) Harrison & Julia Gagnon. Grandchildren; Shaun (Alli) Harrison, (Will) & Sarah Pietsch, Madison Gagnon, Nathan Gagnon, great-grandson; Rhett Harrison. Several special nieces/nephews/cousins and friends made in Edina, Colorado, and the lake.

Bob was a great family man with a kind heart, a subtle sense of humor (prankster) and he enjoyed life to the fullest. A true self-made man, he put himself thru college, he was a Korean War veteran, worked his way up from volunteer fireman to Fire Chief to Director of Public Safety--a legend in Edina. Bob was a man of large stature and many talents. He was an avid sportsman, home builder, musician, entrepreneur, teacher, tennis player, hunter, expert skier and above average bartender. We will be forever grateful for his love, generosity, hospitality, ability to make friends, patriotism, and lived with honor and respect.

A memorial service will held at a later date due to restrictions. He donated to many charities and would always give a helping hand. We know he would love for his legacy to continue through your gifting to; Tunnel2towers.org, Alz.org/mnnd, or the charity of your choice. We would love to hear your stories or antidotes of Bob as we celebrate his “Good Life”.
