Phillip Keith Harein

Age 94 of St Paul.

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on July 22, 2022. Preceded in death by son, Phillip Arthur; parents, Keith and Gladys Harein; and sister, Phyllis Burg. Survived by his wife, Marjorie and their four children, Bekke (Gregg); Phip (Lisa); Steve (Pam); Teresa (Jim) and their nine grandsons, Josh, Mic, Nick, Beau, Matt, Jordyn, Cole, Cory, Cody and many cherished niece’s and nephew’s. Phil’s passion for the outdoors transcended both his professional career as a Professor of Entomology at the U of M and personal hobbies while hunting or fishing. He was a devoted husband, dedicated father, and proud grandfather. He leaves behind him a legacy of lifelong friendships and cherished memories. Special thanks to the staff at Lakeview Hospice for their excellent care and guidance. Services were held at  St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, in Mahtomedi, MN on August 2nd at 12:00PM. Inurnment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date. Memorials are preferred to St Jude’s Hospital or St Andrew’s Lutheran Church.
