James Milo Sheehan

James Sheehan “Jim the Barber”, 81 of Pine River, passed away on Monday, September 19th, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Pine River. He was in the company of his loving wife, Judy Sheehan.

Jim was born in 1941 in Mankato, the son of Milo and Lenora Sheehan. Jim will be missed by his wife, Judy Sheehan and children, Jenna Sheehan-Swiggart, Russ (Cindy) Sheehan and Mike (Missy) Frame; grandchildren, Chelsea (Zach), Kody, and Bailee; great grandson, Logan; siblings, Tom, Mike, and Nancy; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dick.

Jim was a barber in Pine River for 43 years and owned Jim’s Barber Shop. He had been known for saying he had never worked a day in his life because he loved his job and his customers. Jim loved catching up with his customers and getting to know them and their families.

Jim loved to fish and always made time to throw a bobber in the lake with his wife Judy, his kids, grandkids, nieces, and nephews. Many weekends he enjoyed sitting around the bonfire with friends and family sharing stories or a new joke he had just heard.

Jim served in the U.S. Army from 1966-1969 where he worked on electronics and radars.
