Luella Freiberg

Luella Katherine Freiberg (Roy), age 96, of Backus, formerly Brooklyn Center, passed away peacefully on the morning of December 12, 2020 at her home.

Luella was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Freiberg and three siblings. She is survived by her children: Walter (Lisa), Kathy, Gary (Kathy), Scott (Katie); 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Adelle (Jim); brother, Roger (Carol); and many other family members and friends.

Luella was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting and family get togethers. While living in Brooklyn Center she worked for Minnesota Fabrics. After retiring, Luella and Walter moved to Backus where Luella was active in the American Legion Auxiliary, Birthday Club, Powder Puffs, Book Club and volunteered at the Co-op in Hackensack.
