Jeanne Stranne

Jeanne Stranne passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at the age of 81. She was born to John and Sarah Sechser on August 24, 1939. Jeanne married John Stranne on October 8, 1960. She worked at the Pine River Clinic for over 30 years. Jeanne liked to square dance, bowl, play cards and she was a great cook and baker known for her delicious fudge and caramel rolls. Her greatest joy was taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Jeanne is survived by her husband, John; children: Joni Tulenchik (Gary), Jeff Stranne (Renee), grandchildren: Aaron Tulenchik, Annie Koll (Gabe), Stacy Stranne (Jeremiah Duvall), Kelly Fisher (Trent); great grandchildren: Reed, Claire, Lana and Ambie Koll, John and Sadie Fisher; step brother-in-law, Jim Anderson (Patty); step sister-in-law, Mona King (Dennis); and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters-in-law: Clifford Sechser, Jack and Bea Sechser, Robert and Beverly Sechser; sisters and brothers-in-law, Geraldine and Norbert Ackerman and Lois and Duane Derksen.

Jeanne’s family would like to thank Tyler, Mindy and all of the staff at Senior Class Care and also to the St. Croix Hospice staff for the concern and care they gave to Jeanne and the support they gave to her family.

Mass of Christian Burial was held April 26 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Pine River. Burial was in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Pine River. Arrangements with Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.
