One person was airlifted via Life Link III helicopter after a two-vehicle crash about 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 31, in Daggett Brook Township.
According to Crow Wing County Sgt. Andy Bradley, a medical emergency may have been the cause of the crash, where two vehicles traveling in opposite directions just east of the intersection of County Highway 2 and County Highway 45 sideswiped one another.
Bradley said authorities think the airlifted person, who was not identified, experienced a medical emergency while driving prior to the crash.
The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
No other information was available late Sunday.
