The Nisswa Garden Club will hold its monthly meeting Thursday, May 23, at Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa.
Social hour and check-in will begin at noon. Main Street Ale House will serve lunch for $15 at 12:30 p.m. followed by the business meeting.
Coralee Fox, Crow Wing County University of Minnesota Extension Master Gardener, will present the program entitled "Getting to Know Native Woodland Plants." Coordinator is JoAnn Weaver. Greeters are Kay Spizzo and Barb Donovan.
Upcoming programs include Gardeners' Night Out on June 13 at the Main Street Ale House in Nisswa with social time at 6:30 p.m. followed by the program from 7-8 p.m. on "Growing Vegetables."
The program for the regular Thursday, June 27, meeting will be presented by Dorothy Johnson and Jennifer Quam, Crow Wing County UMN Extension Master Gardeners, on "Do it Yourself Flower Arranging Creative Centerpieces."
The annual plant sale will be held from 8:30-11 a.m. Saturday, June 1 (or June 8 in the event of rain), in the Schaefer's Foods parking lot.
Non-members with an interest in gardening are welcome. For lunch reservations, call Barb Bogdanovich at 218-330-6661. Program presentation begins after 1 p.m.
