2 teens hurt in 3-vehicle collision
RIVERTON—Two teens suffered injury Sunday, April 7, in a three-vehicle, rear-end collision on Highway 210 at Crow Wing County Highway 59, near Riverton.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling east on Highway 210 and turned left in front of a Ford Fusion, which was heading west. The Fusion hit the Silverado in the right rear area. The Silverado then hit a Chevrolet Trailblazer stopped at the stop sign on County Highway 59, the state patrol reported.
The teens in the Fusion, driver John D. Novotny, 16, Aitkin, and passenger Carter A. Dox, 17, Aitkin, were transported to Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby for non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Trailblazer—Sarah J. Little Eagle, 36, Riverton—and the driver of the Silverado—Tyler J. Curtiss, 16, Grand Rapids—were not injured.
The crash was reported at 2:08 p.m.
