Letter to the editor: Crosslake mayor-elect thanks voters
I would like to thank the more than 1,400 Crosslake residents who came out to vote Tuesday, Nov. 6. One of the most important freedoms we have as citizens of this great country is the right to vote.
I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the voters of Crosslake for electing me as your mayor. I am honored and humbled that you have placed your trust in me. This is a responsibility I do not take lightly.
I urge you to take the time to share your ideas, concerns and aspirations with me. With your trust, I will do my best to address challenges and secure lasting and meaningful improvements to the city of Crosslake. Our beautiful city faces many challenges in the coming months, but we can overcome them if we work together and make it a place where people of all ages can count on a future.
I am looking forward to working with all of you and our city staff for the betterment of Crosslake and its citizens.
Together with you, the residents of Crosslake, we will continue to keep our city a beautiful and safe place to live; a place we can all call home and be proud of. Again, I thank you for the opportunity to serve.
