Lisa Neville Lake (Gustafson), 69, of Brainerd, MN passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at home.

She was born on April 2, 1948 in Brainerd to Joe and Kay Gustafson, the youngest of three girls. She graduated from Brainerd - the Class of 1966. She went to St. Cloud State and earned her teaching degree. She married Jim lake on August 1, 1970 in Brainerd. Together they had two children, Missy and Tom (TJ). Lisa's first priority was her kids and she chose to stay home with them until their high school years. Lisa and her sisters owned and operated Gigi's Hallmark for 9 years. Lisa was active throughout the community and was a member of the Central Lakes Corvette Club, Brainerd Service Club and PEO.

Lisa lived life to the fullest and never missed out on an opportunity to be with friends or family. She was happiest when she was on the go and around people. She loved being out on the water and going fast in whatever boat she was in. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren. Left to cherish Lisa's memory are her children, Missy (Chad) Schwendeman and Tom (Missy) Lake; grandchildren, Sophie Schwendeman, Rowen Schwendeman, and Libby Lake; former husband, Arne Moores and his children, Pam (Marty) Boerboom, Jenny Moores, and Randy (Tina) Moores; step-grandchildren, Cody Grierson, Riley Dalby and Colton Moores; sisters, Greta (Paul) Graff and Joni (Mike) Alvarez; nieces, Lynn Graff and Tiffany (Tom) Werner; nephews, Jon (Holly) Graff and Tim (Melanie) Turcotte; as well as many friends who were so dear to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Kay; husband, Jim; mother and father-in-law, George and Alice Lake; brothers-in-law, Bob Lake and Tom Turcotte; and grandson, Mitchell Grierson.

Visitation will be from 4-7p.m. on Sunday, December 10th with a prayer service at 7p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the 11a.m. funeral on December 11th at Zion Lutheran Church. Luncheon will be at the church following a burial at Evergreen Cemetery.

The family requests memorials in honor of Lisa be made to Confidence Learning Center.
