Crow Wing County Public Health Supervisor Michelle Moritz will share information about the COVID-19 vaccine in a free virtual presentation from noon to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 3.
Participants will learn about the COVID-19 status, testing centers, quarantine guidance, as well as vaccination distribution, including priority groups and more.
The presentation is intended for any older adult who has experienced stress and anxiety during the coronavirus pandemic and desires more information regarding the pandemic, as well as an update on the vaccination process throughout the county.
Topics include details about COVID-19 status in the county; trends in COVID-19 data and the latest information on testing and follow-up; and vaccine distribution process, status and opportunities of where to be vaccinated.

Crow Wing County partnered with Cuyuna Area Connections “to help remove boundaries, build networks and provide education to sustain independence for aging community members and caregivers,” a news release said.
Cuyuna Area Connections is one of four pilot programs in Minnesota of the Silos to Circles Age Well Initiative.
