WSN names Dammann head of architecture department

Widseth Smith Nolting (WSN) announced the promotion of Brent Dammann to director of architecture. Dammann, a WSN vice president, has been with the firm since 2000. After working in WSN's Baxter office for 12 years, he transferred to Grand Forks, N.D.

Widseth Smith Nolting (WSN) announced the promotion of Brent Dammann to director of architecture.

Dammann, a WSN vice president, has been with the firm since 2000. After working in WSN's Baxter office for 12 years, he transferred to Grand Forks, N.D., to further develop the firm's architectural practice.

Dammann's experience includes the design of educational facilities, single- and multi-family residences, public buildings and places of worship. He has a Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Science in environmental design from North Dakota State University.

As director of architecture, Dammann is responsible for project coordination across multiple offices as well as implementation of WSN's quality management plan.

For the greater Grand Forks area, he manages project budgets, staffing resources and schedules for multiple concurrent projects. He leads the design process through all project phases including pre-funding planning, conceptual planning, programming, project management and construction administration.
