• A Time to Remember-A Childhood Memories Writing Experience: noon to 3 p.m. Thursday, June 4, at Pequot Lakes Baptist Church.
Writing childhood memories is a legacy people can leave to their children and grandchildren. Join biographer and short story author Mary Jo McCarthy for an afternoon spent revisiting your childhood. Participants need a pen; everything else will be provided.
Class fee is $35. A minimum of five must register for class to be held. Maximum class size is 12.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver CPR: 5:30-9 p.m.Wednesday, June 10, Pequot Lakes High School.

Learn the AHA guidelines for adult, child and infant CPR. Topics include CPR, AED use and choking response methods. Certification card is available upon successful completion of course.
This course does not meet the requirements for healthcare certification. Instructor is Terri Spielman.
Fee is $40. A minimum of five is required, with a maximum of eight allowed.
