Heroes from the Eagle's Healing Nest returned to the Pine River near Crosslake for a fourth year of a calming trip down the river.

The Wounded Warriors-MN has been partnering with Wind, Water and Wheels in Crosslake for four years to bring veterans from the Eagle's Healing Nest to paddle the Pine River. Eight veterans participated in the two-hour trip, Monday, Sept. 17, concluding with a meal, courtesy of the Bridge Tavern.
