The Well-Read Mom group will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, July 14, at Boardwalk Scoops Ice Cream Parlor in Pequot Lakes. The group's current reading selection is "My Antonia," by Willa Cather.

Marcie Stokman, from Crosby, founded Well-Read Mom, a reading club that provides a way for women to accompany one another in reading great books, spiritual classics and worthy reads from the Catholic and western tradition. In the fall of 2012, Well-Read Mom began in Stokman's living room with about 20 women. Currently, there are more than 100 groups in 28 states and four countries.
