Moderate to heavy rainfall will return to the region Wednesday night, continuing through Friday morning.

Nearly all of the Northland is forecast to receive 1.5 to 3.0 inches of rainfall, with the heaviest expected over northwest Wisconsin.

Flooding will be possible in some areas due to rainfall on top of already saturated soils.

Potential impacts from this rainfall include: rises of some area rivers and streams, urban and low-lying flooding possible, and ponding of water on highways.
