Quiet tonight with mostly clear to partly cloudy skies. Cloud cover will increase overnight and patchy fog will develop. Lows range from the mid 50s to the mid 60s.
Showers and thunderstorms are expected for Wednesday as a warm front lifts into the region.
Strong storms are possible from the Brainerd Lakes to the Park Falls area.
If stronger storms develop the main hazards will be large hail, strong winds, and heavy rainfall which may lead to flash flooding.
Much of the region is forecasted to see 1 to 2 inches of precipitation with the highest totals anticipated over northwest Wisconsin through Wednesday night.
The warm weather continues on Thursday and Friday with highs ranging from the mid 70s to the low 90s.
