U.S. foreign policy analysis topic of Crosby program

Unlimited Learning will present nationally renowned foreign policy expert Tom Hanson, who will share his foreign policy views peppered with inside information, from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, at Heartwood Senior Living Community in Crosby.

Unlimited Learning will present nationally renowned foreign policy expert Tom Hanson, who will share his foreign policy views peppered with inside information, from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, at Heartwood Senior Living Community in Crosby.

As a career U.S. foreign service officer, Hanson's postings included East Germany, France, Norway, the Soviet Union, Sweden and the former Soviet Republic of Georgia. After participating in the opening of U.S. embassies in Mongolia and Estonia, he worked on the foreign relations committees of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives.

He continues to travel globally and is considered a policy expert who can communicate complex global issues. Hanson's insightful analysis of this past year's foreign policy triumphs and failures is enlightenment for audiences of all ages. He will also predict hot spots and future issues for U.S. foreign policy in 2015.

Cost to attend is $5 for those who aren't Unlimited Learning members. This event is part of a Great Decisions discussion group.
