Crow Wing County crews continue sealing road cracks
Crow Wing County maintenance crews will begin sealing cracks on County Highway 18 later this week and will continue with the work on County Highway 21 in St. Mathias Township and County Road 118 in Mission Township.
Crews will work on the travel lane and on the shoulders simultaneously, creating the need to close one or more lanes of traffic. Signing, flaggers or portable traffic lights will control the traffic flow through these work areas.
Crews will patch potholes on various county roads throughout the week. They will pull over and stop frequently on the shoulders of the roads to perform the work. Loose patching material debris may be present.
Spring roadway sweeping is underway on various county roads throughout the county. Motorists
should watch for the slow-moving brooms when traveling county roads.
Seasonal road load limit weight restrictions are in effect. All roads are posted and will be enforced.
