Water issues on roadways keep Crow Wing County workers busy
Crow Wing County maintenance crews will address roadway water issues, including frozen culverts and catch basins, throughout the week.
Crews will begin crack sealing County Highway 3 in Fifty Lakes, County Highway 21 in St. Mathias Township and County Road 118 in Mission Township throughout the week.
Crews will work on the travel lane and on the shoulders simultaneously, creating the need to close one or more lanes of traffic. Signing, flaggers or portable traffic lights will control the traffic flow through these work areas.
Crews will patch potholes on various county roads throughout the week. They will pull over and stop frequently on the shoulders of the roads to perform the work. Loose patching material debris may be present.
Spring roadway sweeping is underway on various county roads throughout the county. Motorists should watch for the slow-moving brooms when traveling county roads.
Seasonal road load limit weight restrictions are in effect. All roads are posted and will be enforced.
