Crow Wing County maintenance crews work on spring-related road issues
Crow Wing County maintenance crews will address roadway water issues, including frozen culverts and catch basins, throughout the week.
Guardrail repairs will take place Monday, March 25, and Tuesday on the County Highway 31 bridge north of Cuyuna.
Crews will perform brushing, limb trimming and tree removal activities in the road right of way throughout the week on County Highway 22 in Long Lake Township, near South Long Lake.
Crews will work on the travel lane and on the shoulders simultaneously, creating the need to close one or more lanes of traffic. Signing, flaggers or portable traffic lights will control the traffic flow through these work areas.
Crews will patch potholes on various county roads throughout the week. They will pull over and stop frequently on the shoulders of the roads to perform the work. Loose patching material debris may be present.
Spring roadway sweeping is underway on various county roads throughout the county. Motorists
should watch for the slow-moving brooms when traveling county roads.
Seasonal road load limit weight restrictions are in effect. All roads are posted and will be enforced.
