Brainerd author Julie Kovacik encourages teens to make better, faith-guided choices through her new self-help book, "Choices at the Crossroads: Helping Teens Handle Difficult Situations." This book on spiritual growth was released nationwide last week.
"Choices at the Crossroads" will allow pastors, teachers, principals, youth workers, parents and anyone else who deals with teens to open a line of communication with them, discuss difficult situations and help teens to learn to think and to make decisions biblically.

Kovacik works at Lake Region Christian School in Baxter and has been in Christian education for over 15 years, teaching middle school and high school classes. She has had many opportunities to talk with teens about issues that are affecting them on a daily basis. Kovacik has always enjoyed the ever-changing adventure of working with teens.
