A technology seminar hosted by Crosslake Communications and Emily Cooperative Telephone Company will teach attendees about the difference between apps and programs, such as Word or Excel, at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, at the Crosslake Community Center.
Windows 8, 8.1 and 10 all have both apps and programs available. Attendees should come away from this seminar with a good understanding of them both. They might be surprised to find some apps they didn't know about and learn about how they can help with everyday computing tasks.
