The Kids' Summer Reading Program at the Pequot Lakes Library, "Every Hero has a Story," will have sign-up days May 28 and 30.

The program will end with the final book party Tuesday, Aug. 18.

Formal sign-up days are Thursday, May 28, from 6-7:30 p.m., and Saturday, May 30, from 9-11 a.m. Families can also sign up at the library any time after those dates.

There will be a $5 sign-up fee per family. If kids finish the required reading and return their reading sheet by Aug. 6, the $5 fee will be returned at the final party so they may buy a book.

The reading program is for readers ages preschool through grade 6. There are a lot of activities planned for the summer.
