Shoe Sensation to host fundraiser

Shoe Sensation at the Westgate Mall in Brainerd/Baxter is partnering with Bobs for Dogs from Skechers for its first Shoes for Paws fundraising event benefiting the Babinski Foundation animal shelter in rural Pequot Lakes.

Shoe Sensation at the Westgate Mall in Brainerd/Baxter is partnering with Bobs for Dogs from Skechers for its first Shoes for Paws fundraising event benefiting the Babinski Foundation animal shelter in rural Pequot Lakes.

On Saturday, Oct. 7, at Shoe Sensation, a representative from the Babinski Foundation will collect paper towels, blankets, towels, food, treats and toys, as well as cash donations.

Customers will be able to register for a free pair of Bobs from Skechers and get 10 percent off all Bobs for Dogs from Skechers shoes during the event. Skechers donates a portion of every pair of Skechers Bobs for Dogs product to a national animal charity.

Shoes for Paws will be in the store. The Babinski Foundation animal shelter will have animals on site at Shoe Sensation available for adoption from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Call 218-454-0440 for more information.
