Safety Kids, a drop-off camp for ages 4-6, will be offered from 9-11:30 a.m. Monday-Wednesday, June 28-30, at Eagle View Elementary School.

Police officers, community resource people and volunteer teen instructors will work daily to develop healthy, safe attitudes in children. Children will learn about various aspects of safety through classroom activities, songs and videos. They will practice pedestrian skills and experience “real life” situations by driving tot size vehicles through a miniature city layout complete with city blocks, buildings and stop signs.

Children must be age 4 and fully potty trained by June 30 to attend.

Cost is $50. Preregistration is required. Contact Pequot Lakes Community Education at 218-568-9200 or register online at www.isd186.org and click on "community education."
