Woodtick Wheelers fundraiser event
Woodticks & Pork Chops, a fundraiser for the Woodtick Wheelers ATV/OHM Club, will run from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, April 23, at American Legion Post 202 in Hackensack.
Cost for a pork chop dinner is $6.50 a plate, with funds going to the non profit club for ATV youth safety training.

Minnesota author Brian Freeman will talk and sign books at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 28, at the Crosslake Community Center.
Freeman is the author of 10 psychological thrillers, with his newest book, "Goodbye to the Dead," just released in March. Books will be available for purchase.
