Pine River-Backus (PR-B) Elementary School will host an event Thursday, April 23, for children who will be entering kindergarten in 2015-16 and their parents.
The event will offer parents and children the opportunity to meet elementary Principal Rick Aulie and other staff. Parents will be able to attend a 30-minute session starting at 3:30 or 6 p.m. to prepare them for their child's first year in PR-B's all-day kindergarten program.
Supervision will be available for children in the performance gym. Parents should bring immunization records, birth certificates and questions about the school's kindergarten program. Teachers will be available to assist with registration.
