PR-B students treated to NASA, STEAM Fair

After speaking with astronaut Mark Vande Hei, who is aboard the International Space Station, via a video downlink Monday, Sept. 18, Pine River-Backus students then attended a NASA and Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math Fair featuring information about space, manufacturing, solar technology and other growing industries.

Students got to design their own aliens, and use a metal bending brake and learn about manufacturing. The fair also featured a sky lab that will remain at the school for a week so each grade level can have a one-hour class lesson.
