A few Pine River-Backus (PR-B) varsity speech team members took time out of their spring break to join nearly 600 students at Walker's Chuck Beckman Memorial Speech Meet on Saturday, March 7.
Competing from PR-B were Claudina Williams in Informative Speaking; Melissa Meek, Humorous Interpretation; Troy Fetter, Serious Prose; and Judith Reed and Tia Ford, Dramatic Duo.
