ANIMAL COMPLAINT: Report on April 18 at 3:10 p.m. of a loose cow on County Road 4 and County Road 118 in Nisswa.

FIRES: Report on April 16 at 3:16 p.m. of a grass fire on County Road 19 in Merrifield.

Report on April 18 at 11:31 a.m. of a grass fire on State Highway 6 in Emily.

Report on April 20 at 4:26 p.m. of a grass fire on Thrane Drive in Pequot Lakes.

THEFT: Report on April 20 at 5:49 a.m. of a theft of tools from the rear of a vehicle on State Highway 371 and Twin Lake Drive.

Breezy Point Police Department

AGENCY ASSIST: Report on April 17 at 7:34 p.m. on Hole in the Day Drive in Nisswa of an officer requesting backup actively fighting with a subject. The request was cancelled en route. Responding officer checked the officer involved and cancelled the ambulance.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT: Report on April 16 at 10:57 p.m. on Harvest Road of a request for the fire department to get a cat out of a tree. The reporting party called back and said the cat came down.

CRASH: Report on April 19 at 3:14 p.m. of a property damage crash on County Road 4. The driver was arrested for DWI.

FIRE: Report on April 18 at 3:57 p.m. of a grass fire on Buschmann Road. The fire was extinguished by Pequot Lakes Fire Department.

PROPERTY DAMAGE: Report on April 19 at 4:59 p.m. of a large boulder that had been pushed onto property, damaging the landscaping, on Whitebirch Way.

Pequot Lakes Police Department

CRASH: Report on April 15 at 10:41 a.m. of a personal injury accident on Country Care Lane.

FIRE: Report on April 16 of a fire at 8:07 p.m. of a fire on Summer Avenue in Jenkins. The officer was cancelled en route.

THEFT: Report on April 14 of theft of business property at 10:08 a.m. on Main Street. The owner requested that the property be returned.

Nisswa Police Department

CRASH: Report on April 19 at 4:08 p.m. of a squad car crash with a deer on Clark Lake Road in Nisswa. There was minimal damage to the push bumper and hood.

POSSESSION: Report on April 18 at 8:17 p.m. of a driver who was pulled over and warned for a headlight out. Driver was also given warning for expired proof of insurance, cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana and driving without a license. A passenger was cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana wax.

RECKLESS DRIVING: Report on April 18 at 4:44 p.m. of a driver cited for reckless driving while racing another vehicle at the stoplights of Highway 371 and County Road 13.

RESISTING: Report on April 17 at 7:34 p.m. of a driver stopped for speed. Officer smelled marijuana and the vehicle was searched. A glass methamphetamine pipe and a scale were found. The officer advised the driver to turn around and place her hands behind her back. The driver resisted and fought with the officer until backup arrived. Jail would not take the female driver for charges. Long form charges will be used.

ABANDONED VEHICLE: Report on April 15 at 1:38 p.m. of an abandoned vehicle on 44th Avenue in Backus.

BURGLARIES: Report on April 15 at 8:18 a.m. of a burglary on County Road 118 in Backus.

FLEEING: Report on April 15 at 12:44 p.m. of a suspect fleeing an officer on First Street in Pine River.

Report on April 16 at 2:22 p.m. of a burglary on First Avenue in Backus.

FIRES: Report on April 17 at 8:42 of a grass fire on State Highway 84 outside of Pine River.
