The Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Minnesota will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 7, on Pelican Lake at Breezy Point Resort.
The funds raised benefit more than 8,000 Special Olympics Minnesota athletes as they train, compete and transform themselves.
Day of the plunge check-in will be at the first floor of the Breezy Point Resort Convention Center near the front desk at the plunge site.
Plungers are encouraged to wear unique and outrageous costumes. Each participant must raise a minimum of $75 and bring the funds to the event.
