My name is Levi Puetz and I first started getting serious with art around the age of 14.
It started with my first spearing decoy. Mr. (Dave) Guenther helped me through the whole process, and that is what made me want to become a carver.
The experience I had carving my first decoy with Mr. Guenther was so enjoyable and fun that I had to start another the next day.
My art medium is wood carving and my favorite artist is John Laska. He is a guy that any carver can ask questions to and he will help. John Laska is a competition decoy carver and he is very good at carving.
I enjoy being able to carve every day, and I am excited to see what I can come up with in the future.

My parents are Joe and Jaynee Puetz. I am very lucky to have parents that support me and give me advice when carving decoys.
After I graduate I plan on becoming a master electrician.
