The Pequot Lakes fifth-grade girls' basketball team was consolation champion in the Brainerd tournament last weekend. The only team that defeated them won the championship. The girls played tough defeating Bemidji in the consolation game. Team members include, front row, Sydnie Wgeishofski, Carly Chaney and Elisa Flaws; middle row, Morgan Eckes; back row, coach Melissa Chaney, Brittany Joyce, Hannah McMahon, Sonja Palmer and coach Ann Flaws.
