The Pine River Watershed Alliance (PRWA) annual business meeting will be held from 3-4 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, at the Ideal Community Center.
In addition to the normal business meeting, Darren Mayers, Crow Wing Soil & Water Conservation District, will present current plans for the Willow Creek Project as part of the recently released Minnesota Pollution Control Agency's Pine River Watershed Restoration and Protection Strategy (WRAPS).
Willow Creek was identified in the WRAP process as a tributary needing restoration and protection work. Willow Creek flows directly into the Whitefish Chain of Lakes and the Pine River.
PRWA is working actively on this project.
The annual meeting will be followed by a regular board meeting from 4-6 p.m.
